Organization Purpose SEANC is the largest non-union association of public employees in the nation, representing all active and retired employees of State Government. Since our beginning in the 1940's, our first priority has been the protection and advancement of the rights and concerns of state employees before the General Assembly, the Governor and State departments and agencies.
Outside of the legislative arena, SEANC speaks for its members before the board of the State Health Plan and the Retirement System Board of Trustees. Our executive director, officers and staff meet regularly with State Government leaders to express the concerns of state employees.
Issues include pay, health care, retirement and job security. Many potentially harmful legislative measures have been defeated because of the actions of SEANC and its membership. |
